Lindsay Lawrence is a member of SGM’s labour law group. She articled with SGM and joined the firm upon her call to the Ontario Bar in 2005.
Lindsay’s practice focuses on all aspects of labour law, including grievance arbitration and labour board matters.
Lindsay received her law degree from the University of Toronto and she also has a bachelor of arts degree (honours) from McGill University. She was the recipient of a number of law school awards, including the J.F.W. Weatherill Prize in labour arbitration and the Macdonald Prize in public international law. She graduated with the Milner Bronze Medal, awarded to the student with the third highest cumulative grade point average.
Prior to joining the firm, Lindsay worked as a writer and editor at Lancaster House, writing for various publications in the areas of labour and employment law.
Lindsay is a member the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Ontario Bar Association.
